Unlike Western Canada that has been dumped with so much snow this season, winter in Toronto and much of Eastern Canada has been very mild so far. I tend to believe that the climate change is the cause, and it's become harder and harder to predict what awaits us in the future. But let's put uncertainty aside for now, and enjoy the coolest winter thaw I have ever seen in the middle of February with high temperatures of up to 14 C / 57 F.

Despite superwarm temperatures, melting ice and snow still remain on lightly travelled and shaded paths.
It's so much fun to bike on a sheet of a melting snow. Keep your grip tight, because too much pedalling will make your bike skid.
Most rivers in Toronto still remain frozen, but the ice cover is probably very thin.

It's Canada, baby - topless joggers in mid-February. Why not?
